Meet our newest physiotherapist – Arissa Patterson! A South Surrey local and former Earl Marriott grad, Arissa returns home after starting her career in Victoria. Arissa obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology before graduating from Queen’s University with a Master’s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.
Arissa’s interest in physiotherapy began as a patient following a motor vehicle accident. Her interest continued to grow through volunteer work in outpatient cardiac rehabilitation, inpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation, and community rehabilitation settings. Arissa has clinical experience treating a wide range of conditions from workplace and motor vehicle injuries to sports, orthopaedics, arthritis, and pre/post-surgical rehabilitation. Arissa is passionate about providing personalized treatment and empowering clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals through patient education, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
Arissa has completed advanced training in soft tissue release, vestibular rehabilitation, and the Mulligan concept. She has also obtained Level 1 Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. Arissa holds an internationally recognized ACSM personal trainer certification, and loves incorporating individualized exercises into her patients’ recovery.
When not in the clinic, Arissa enjoys travelling, walking her dog, taking fitness classes, snowboarding, running, hiking, golfing, and playing squash and softball.

PhysioLife is pleased to announce that Physiotherapist Sukhi Grewal has joined our team. Sukhi completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University followed by a Master of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland in Australia. Although he started his career in Australia, Sukhi is happy to be back in Canada and practicing in his hometown.
Sukhi’s interest in physiotherapy began while he rehabilitated his own injuries sustained while playing hockey and weight lifting. Sukhi saw the impact that physiotherapy could have on his goal to recovery and wanted to share that experience by helping others achieve the same.
Sukhi’s passion for physiotherapy grew while working in Australia and he developed a keen interest in manual therapy, chronic pain, and needling techniques. He is always looking to enhance his physiotherapy skills through seminars and professional development courses. Sukhi has clinical experience working with a caseload consisting of pre/post surgical rehabilitation, neurology, vestibular conditions and workplace injuries. Sukhi can service a variety of clientele in both English and Punjabi.
While living in Australia, Sukhi picked up his love for outdoor sports – rock climbing, cycling and swimming. When Sukhi is not treating patients, he can be found hiking or cycling through the great trails of BC.

PhysioLife is pleased to announce that Physiotherapist Satvir Hundal has joined our team. Satvir’s academic career includes both a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. In addition to her degrees, Satvir has also completed courses in the Mulligan concept, soft tissue release, and is currently working through the orthopaedic levels (advanced training in manual and manipulative therapy). She also plans on pursuing additional post-graduate training in Women’s Health.
Satvir’s passion for Physiotherapy started when she worked as a Physiotherapy aid through the co-operative education program at SFU in a school working witih children with learning disabilities or special needs. This experience left her wanting to continue helping clients of all ages to be as physically active as possible. She loves being able to help assist clients meet their treatment goals through the application of manual techniques, exercise prescription and education.
Satvir’s previous experience as a Kinesiologist, and as a physiotherapist in both private and public settings makes her a well-rounded therapist. As such, Satvir’s patients have a broad range of injuries and ailments, but she has a particular interest in pre/post natal health and incontinence.
In her spare time, Satvir enjoys going on runs with her dog, hiking with her friends, and doing bhangra (Indian dance). Satvir is fluent in Punjabi.

PhysioLife Physiotherapy Clinic is pleased that physiotherapist Lisa Chandra was recently certified to perform Gunn IMS. IMS (or Gunn IMS) was developed in the 1970’s by Dr. Chan Gunn. The principles of IMS are rooted in Western Medicine and utilize acupuncture needles as a way to penetrate deep muscle tissue. PhysioLife is pleased to announce that Physiotherapist Krysta Wark has joined our team. Krysta has an extensive academic past having completed her Bachelor of Science in Honours Biology, and her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Krysta’s treatment approach incorporates manual therapy and exercise to restore function, treat and prevent injuries, and enhance physical performance.
Krysta enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, with a special interest in young athletes, pre and post-natal moms, and running injuries. She is dedicated to continuous professional development and has completed the Mulligan Concept lower quadrant course and is pursuing her Orthopaedic levels to advance her skills in manual therapy. She is also an active member in the physiotherapy community and sites on the subcommittee of the Global Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
In her spare time you will find Krysta running as close to the ocean as possible, navigating the slopes of the ski hill, getting blisters on multi-day hikes or getting muddy on the mountain bike trails.
