Massage Therapy

In addition to Physiotherapy, our clinic offers registered massage therapy (RMT).  While massage therapy is an outstanding complement to physiotherapy, it is also commonly done on its own.

Patients call looking for experienced massage therapists to treat a myriad of conditions, while getting tangible results.  Our therapists have extensive experience treating, and getting results, for thousands of patients.  The most common conditions seen are sports injuries, nagging back or neck pain, tension headaches, injuries from a car accident, or those wanting a relaxation massage.  In addition, our therapists have the right treatment beds and body cushions to massage patients in a variety of positions.  This is important for patients not comfortable laying on their back of stomach, for example,  pregnant women.

All massages done at PhysioLife are from “Registered” Massage Therapists (RMT’s).  This means: (1) your treatment is performed by therapists with the highest credentials in the profession – all of whom have completed considerable schooling and passed rigorous exams; (2) All our RMT’s are members of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia; and (3), extended health benefits typically only cover treatments by Registered Massage Therapists.

If you’re looking for a specific type of massage, give us a call and one of our RMT’s will be happy to discuss your particular needs with you.  We’re confident we can help.
