Amanda Birt

Registered Kinesiologist

BKin

Amanda is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, specializing in the Neuromechanical and Physiological Sciences stream. Through this focus, Amanda developed a strong foundation in human anatomy, neuroscience, biomechanics, and exercise prescription, allowing her to understand the importance of physical activity across diverse populations.

During her time at UBC, Amanda worked with Active Kids, and BodyWorks, supporting physical activity programs designed to engage children and assist seniors, including those recovering from strokes, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in maintaining strength, mobility, and independence.

Amanda also had the opportunity to shadow the Surrey Eagles hockey team as a student kinesiologist, gaining valuable insight into athletic rehabilitation and injury prevention in a high-performance sports environment.

Amanda is passionate about making movement accessible and effective for people of all ages and abilities. She believes in promoting lifelong physical activity and is dedicated to working closely with each client to understand their individual needs and create personalized exercise plans that align with their health, lifestyle, and movement goals.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Amanda at the gym, in a fitness class, hiking with her dog, or enjoying a game of slow pitch!
