DC, Social Worker

I have been a patient of PhysioLife for about 6 years. I have chronic neck and back issues requiring regular appointments to maintain my flexibility and strength. As a social worker, my profession is stressful. Attending PhysioLife has helped me both physically and mentally to maintain a holistic healthy balance in my life. I keep coming back to PhysioLife because of the therapists, who are highly trained in their respective professions. The staff work together as a team, providing seamless care; there is attention to chronic issues through specific strengthening and stretching exercises; and they are personable, approachable, friendly and professional. This team has gotten me through a broken arm, falls, degenerative health changes, and work stress. The receptionists are helpful, patient, and always willing to work around busy schedules to accommodate appointments where possible.

Linda, Retired RN

Krystie, I really appreciate all the care that you’ve given me and I’m truly grateful to have you as my physiotherapist. Thank you for everything that you do.

RG RCMP Member (Surrey, BC)

I’ve been going to PhysioLife since 2012.  As a First Responder/LEO, I found myself incurring several injuries as a result of my profession.  I searched for several clinics in the area and found PhysioLife online.  I reviewed their website and decided I would give them a try.  What I was looking for from a Physiotherapist and Clinic were several things: Professional outgoing staff, the ability to return to work as quickly as possible and the latest treatments and modalities to treat my specific injuries.

PhysioLife far exceeded my expectations.  Krystie is an engaging, knowledgeable and professional Therapist who explains the therapy process to you in layman’s terms.  Krystie takes the time to work with you to get you back to functioning and performing at your best.  Krsytie’s genuine concern and well-being of others is something that I appreciate.  Far too often Medical professionals “rush” their patients through, and it’s nice that you are not “just another patient” here.

Kudos to Laura (RMT).  She is simply the best massage therapist I’ve experienced.  Her ability to alleviate my body aches and pains with the correct amount of pressure every time is very much appreciated.

I highly recommend PhysioLife Clinic to my First Responder family and anyone interested in the best Physiotherapy and Massage services in the South Surrey/White Rock area.

To all the staffs at PhysioLife Clinic, thanks for running a great clinic!

Pak Family

As an active and athletic family we have benefited from having multi-disciplinary therapists available at PhysioLife.  For chronic injuries, having a massage therapist and a physiotherapist in the same clinic, working cohesively, has proven very valuable.  The clinic has always been quick to deal with athletic injuries including taping services as demanded by game schedules.  Having a goal-oriented treatment plan where you actually progress from the treatments and the exercises makes all the difference in getting back to a stronger self.

I have been seeing Laura for massage treatments since September 2013 and have been seeing her on a regular basis.  I suffer from chronic pain, due to a series of motor vehicle accidents.  Laura is always polite and courteous and really knows what she is doing. She always applies the right amount of pressure, and helps get the bumps and knots out so I can manage through my day.  She is exceptional at her job, she is in tune with the body and she knows where the pain is coming from.  Laura is my go-to girl on the days when my pain flares up and I know I can count on her to help my get through it.  I refer all my friends and family to Laura and they have nothing but great things to say about her massage treatments.”

I highly recommend PhysioLife Physiotherapy Clinic.  The physiotherapy and massage treatments following my hip replacement surgery, and recent knee replacement surgery, have allowed me to return to work and get back to my physical activities in a very timely manner.  Krystie is a very qualified, knowledgeable and an experienced Physiotherapist.  She was always prompt for my treatments and very well organized, including having a specific plan and exercises prepared for my sessions.  I was also impressed with the progression of the different strength/flexibility exercises following both surgeries.  During my recovery from hip surgery Krystie also included strength exercises for my leg and knee in advance of my knee surgery.  I believe this significantly reduced my recovery time.

Many thanks also to Larry (RMT).  He came highly recommended by a co-worker for his experience and professional treatments. Larry was also able to address all my hip, leg and back issues.  I left after each session feeling 10 years younger.

I credit both Larry and Krystie for a “team approach” which led to my speedy recovery. A  special note of thanks to the friendly and helpful office staff also.

Our family has been patients of PhysioLife for the last 6 years, and treatment has ranged from my son’s soccer injuries to my recent car accidents.  The PhysioLife staff is very friendly and professional, and they provide a very thorough and experienced service.  We were very fortunate to have been referred to PhysioLife.  We find that they go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of.  We are extremely happy with PhysioLife and highly recommend them to everyone.

Larry is a very conscientious massage therapist.  He knows the boundaries on what should be done, and how much the patients can handle.  Andrea is very kind, obliging, and always asks if you’re doing okay throughout your appointment.  Krystie is flexible and can go with the flow of her patients, even when I throw something different at her!

Greg, Safety Officer (South Surrey, BC)

I am a 63 year old male with a moderate rupture on L-5 and arthritis in L-4 and L-5.  I have been dealing with these conditions for ten years using chiropractic and massage treatments to keep as mobile as possible while trying to live a very active lifestyle.  My condition has never really improved, but instead plateaued, even while walking 40-60km per week and doing numerous core exercises.  Two years ago I decided to see Krystie Cheong of PhysioLife which turned out to be the best health decision I had ever made.  Krystie began by assessing my overall health condition and developed an exercise program suited to me personally.  The failure of my previous efforts of core exercising was due to not having established a suitable core base to build upon.  Krystie has clearly demonstrated a high level of skill and knowledge of her profession.  She has shown great patience with my sometimes slow pace but has continuously provided encouragement and guidance.  You must follow her instructions and be prepared to do your part, the results speak for themselves.  Not only has my core strength increased but my overall body tone and strength has improved dramatically, allowing me to enhance my enjoyment of my favorite hobby, hiking.  I recent underwent a bilateral hernia operation and with her expertise, she guided me back to a level of health whereby I successfully challenged a 31km, 11 hour hike 3 months to the day of my operation.  Krystie has my complete trust in her ability and her high standard she sets for herself is also a requirement of any associate she has working under her name of PhysioLife.  I would highly recommend her clinic to anyone without any reservation.

I have been seeing Larry Martin for quite a few years. I have seen many other massage therapists in the past, but since being fortunate enough to meet Larry, he is the only one I would go to when having back issues. He always treats my problem with the correct amount of pressure. When I leave, things have improved immensely. I have had many great conversations while on his table and appreciate his professionalism, talent, and great wit.

Colleen (White Rock, BC)

I have been a regular client receiving treatment at Physiolife for the past year and a half.

It was by good fortune that I was referred to this treatment centre, and have had the pleasure to get to know, and be in the caring hands of  therapists:  Krystie Cheong, Laura Martens and Andrea Chen.

My therapeutic needs are those of occupational wear and tear, further complicated by injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  During this time, I have received knowledgeable and caring attention for my various maladies, with ongoing genuine concern and interest for my well being.

The convenience of being able to visit the same site for both my physio and massage therapy,  allows for communication between the therapists with regard to my treatment plan.  Also, The reception staff are very friendly and efficient with my bookings and always leave cheerful telephone reminders of upcoming appointments.

I am grateful for and value the relationships that have evolved with my caregivers and will continue to seek treatment here for myself and my family, and easily could (and have)  recommend their services to others.

Thank you Physiolife for taking such good care of me!

Bal (Surrey, BC)

In 2012 I tore my ACL while playing soccer and I needed physiotherapy to help strengthen my leg pre and post-surgery.  I wanted to find a clinic which offered sports rehab services.  PhysioLife provided me with that and during the past year I have had the pleasure of Andrea helping me through this process with professionalism and care.

Brent, Burnaby Firefighter (Surrey, BC)

I have been going to PhysioLife since the doors opened in their first location at Grandview Corners, South Surrey. I can’t say enough about the outstanding care and attention given by my physio Krystie Cheong and the rest of the team at PhysioLife. Being very active in sport and at work, I have been seeing Krystie on a regular basis for a wide range of injuries including patellar tendon reconstruction, labrum tear in my right shoulder, ACL and meniscus tear in my right knee, and the list goes on. I have always had positive results from her prescribed treatment and returned to sport/work faster than physicians ever expect. Krystie’s continuing education is inspiring for one, but also very comforting knowing that I am in the most knowledgeable hands I could ask for in the lower mainland. It’s the extra care and time Krystie and the rest of her team put into each patient that has my entire family and most people I know, now going to PhysioLife. Keep up the great work, and thank you for going above and beyond!

Matt Erhart (Fmr Head Coach, Surrey Eagles)

Krystie and Larry are integral to the health and performance of the Surrey Eagles. Their injury prevention and recovery work helps keep our players on the ice and able to give 100%. I would highly recommend them to anyone, whether they’re an athlete or not.

Rob, Long Haul Truck Driver (White Rock, BC)

In my experience at PhysioLife Physiotherapy Clinic, they are the most dynamic and resourceful group of professional physical therapists that I have ever encountered. The dedication, knowledge, ability, and friendly atmosphere is not only welcome, but is an inspiration to anyone who has suffered a debilitating injury or surgery and would like to get on the road to recovery as surely as possible. I personally have benefited from this outstanding group, and I am on my way to a full recovery both mentally and physically. I would recommend this organization to anyone. The step-by-step programs are concise, elevating, and unmatched. They clearly are the leading experts in their field.

Thank you Krystie and PhysioLife, a physio that keeps you free from injuries is priceless.
