Sukhi completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University followed by a Master of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland in Australia. Although he started his career in Australia, Sukhi is happy to be back in Canada and practicing in his hometown.
Sukhi’s interest in physiotherapy began while he rehabilitated his own injuries sustained while playing hockey and weight lifting. During his recovery he realized the benefit physiotherapy was having on his own body and decided to pursue a career helping other achieve the same types of benefits. While working in Australia, Sukhi developed a keen interest in manual therapy, chronic pain, and needling techniques. He is always looking to enhance his physiotherapy skills through seminars and professional development courses. Sukhi has clinical experience working with a caseload consisting of pre/post surgical rehabilitation, neurology, vestibular conditions and workplace injuries. Sukhi can service a variety of clientele in both English and Punjabi.
While living in Australia, Sukhi picked up his love for outdoor sports – rock climbing, cycling and swimming. When Sukhi is not treating patients, he can be found hiking or cycling through the great trails of BC.
