Indy holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Masters degree in physical therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. Indy currently is a Sports First Responder and has completed Level 3 of the Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy program.
Indy was exposed to physiotherapy from his own injuries while playing competitive soccer and basketball. Indy combined his passion for competitive athletics, medicine, and strength & conditioning during school by becoming the trainer for the men’s varsity soccer team. During his time as a trainer, Indy was heavily involved at the university sports medicine clinic and learned advanced taping techniques. Indy followed this by gaining invaluable experience while working with the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy, Saskatoon Rugby Association and the 2014 Canada Cup (Football Canada). Indy is able to serve a variety of clientele since he is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Indy is always looking to further his skills as a physiotherapist by attending continuing education and seminars. He has attended multiple sports medicine symposiums allowing him to learn about the newest research from leading experts in concussions to exercise prescription. Indy also has a variety of other interests and clinical experience including neurology, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents and pre/post surgical rehabilitation.
In his spare time Indy enjoys soccer, basketball, snowboarding and golf. He also avidly cheers for the Canucks and Seahawks.
